Two unidentified bodies found in shallow grave in Goose Creek

An investigation has begun after police discovered two bodies in a shallow grave in the backyard of a residence on Pandora Drive in Goose Creek.

Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury confirmed Sunday that he was called to the scene, where two unidentified bodies were unearthed from a gravesite.

The remains were sent to the Medical University of South Carolina and are pending an autopsy Monday.
