Facebook post helps connect missing ring to its SC owner

A ring that was found at a Mauldin park will be returned to its owner thanks to a Facebook post from the woman who found it .

Nichole Smith posted a photo of the ring on Facebook on Saturday with a plea to anyone who might be able to help connect her with the ring's owner. She said her daughter found the ring near the baseball fields at Sunset Park.

In an updated Facebook post on Tuesday night, Smith said the ring's owner had been found.
