Travel Channel's 'Dead Files' to feature Spartanburg County

"The Dead Files," a Travel Channel show that bills itself as being dedicated to investigating unexplained phenomena, will air an episode this weekend that features Spartanburg County.

The episode, called “Legion of Death,” will highlight a rural area of Spartanburg tied to a Revolutionary War soldier credited with more than 50 deaths, according to the show's website.

It will air at 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday.
