Search underway for pregnant 13-year-old Aiken girl
A nationwide search is underway for a 13-year-old Aiken girl and her 18-year-old boyfriend who may be headed for Mexico, Aiken police said on Friday.
Irma O. was dropped off by bus at her middle school Friday morning but never showed up for class, the police said.
She told others on the bus that she was pregnant, a fact confirmed by Helping Hands Aiken, a shelter for abandoned, abused or neglected children. Irma said she was going to run away to Mexico with her boyfriend, 18-year-old Jose Armando Alcazar –Agustin (Jose Alcazar.)
Police were dispatched to a McDonalds in Aiken where, she told bus mates, she was meeting Alzcazar. A review of the businesses’ surveillance video, however, failed to turn up any video of her, police said.
If you can help authorities locate Irma O., or Jose Armando Alcazar, you are asked to call Crimestoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372).
