The victim of a drive-by shooting, SC teen found dead in home, coroner says

A South Carolina teen was found dead in his home after being shot, according to a statement from the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office.

Owen Griffin, 19, was found shot in the Summerville household after deputies believe he was a victim of a drive-by shooting, according to the statement.

Griffin’s body was taken to the Medical University of South Carolina for an autopsy, according to the statement.

The incident is being investigated by the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.
