SC man urinated on a woman at a bar and got punched by her boyfriend, SC police say

A South Carolina man was taken to jail Sunday after a woman told police he urinated on her and others while at a bar, according to a report from the Spartanburg Police Department.

When police arrived at Spartanburg’s Dogwood Manor, they found the man “slumped in a chair and covered in throw up,” according to the report.

While waiting for EMS to arrive, officers talked to other bar patrons, according to the report. A woman told police the man walked over to their group of about five people at the bar and began urinating on them.

The woman told police it took her a while to notice, but when she did, she jumped away from him, according to the report. Another woman told police her boyfriend then punched the man.

The man — still unresponsive — was taken to the Spartanburg County Detention Center, where he was given a ticket for public drunkenness. Police are still considering charges of assault
