Those looking for a romantic, last-minute Valentine’s Day get away don’t even have to travel outside of South Carolina to get to one of the most romantic places in the world, according to CNN Travel.

Charleston was named one of the “world’s most romantic places” in a list created by the news network’s travel section.

“Charleston is a sultry city where a dose of true Southern charm goes a long way toward upping the romance factor,” the list reads.

The site listed the city’s cobblestone streets, restaurants with a view of the water and carriage rides as some of its best features. Among the places it suggested visiting were the Magnolia Plantation and a 400-year-old tree on Johns Island.

Visitors could also go one a sunset or late night cruise or find an “exciting” restaurant, the site suggested.

Charleston was listed among places like The Maldives, Tuscany, Hawaii and Paris.
