Hamilton is coming back to South Carolina

History filled hip-hop musical sensation Hamilton is due to return to South Carolina, according to a post from Greenville’s Peace Center.

The Pulitzer Prize winning play featuring the tale of the founding of America will be coming back for an encore at the Greenville theater during its 2020-21 season, according to a post on Facebook.

Though dates have not been announced yet, subscribers to the theater are guaranteed Hamilton tickets, according to the Peace Center’s website. Season tickets start at $320.

Classic Wizard of Oz retelling Wicked will join Hamilton in the 2020-21 lineup, according to the Facebook post.

Hamilton rolled through a two-week run in Greenville in December 2018, causing a rush for tickets to the Tony-award winning musical.
