Have you seen this pup? SC man offers $10k reward after truck stolen with Bella inside
Before Christmas, someone stole a truck from outside a Lowe’s store in South Carolina, and Ben Brengle’s 2-year-old yellow lab mix Bella was in the pickup, he said on Facebook.
Now he’s offering a $10,000 reward to get Bella back.
“One way or another we need to find her. She’s a rescue dog and has come a long way in terms of trust. We already have an army of a network getting the word out,” he said.
Bella was in Brengle’s white Chevy Silverado extended cab truck when it was stolen from the Lowe’s in North Charleston on Dec. 22, he said.
He’s offering a $10,000 reward for Bella’s safe return or tips that help get her back, “as well as a $5k reward for the identity, arrest and convision of the perpetrator who stole her, according to the post.
Brengle said: “She is a 2 (year-old) yellow lab mix. She is (spayed), weighs approx. 40lbs, has a broken tail, and a pink nose. When approaching her she will either be extremely timid and run or she will bark aggressively and stand her ground, no in between. She will not bite however. She takes well to people crouched down to her level with the palm up, underhand approach.”
He started a Facebook page dedicated to finding the dog, Find Bella of Charleston SC.
