The two passed the fake payment at a home in Honea Path, about 30 miles south of Greenville, officials said. The sheriff’s office is asking for help to find the car and identify the two men seen on surveillance cameras.

The men were driving a maroon sedan but the sheriff’s office did not know the tag number, according to the post.
