Two lucky lottery jackpot winners bought tickets at the same South Carolina store

One grocery store sold two $100,000 jackpot tickets for Saturday’s drawing, South Carolina Education Lottery officials said.

A Harris Teeter on Savannah Highway in Charleston sold the two winning Palmetto Cash 5 tickets.

The lucky winners picked all five numbers and both won the top prize.

The winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 3 - 5 - 12 - 23 - 32, with Power-Up: 3. Neither winner took the “power-up” option that would have tripled the prizes.

“Check your tickets. Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes,” lottery officials said.

“The odds of winning $100,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 501,942,” according to the lottery.
