It might be time to sift through grandma’s attic for hidden treasures.

“American Pickers,” the long-running reality television show, has announced plans to film episodes in South Carolina in February, according to a recent press release.

While the hit History Channel show has not shared specific details on when it will film in South Carolina, it is actively searching for residents with antiques and collections to participate.

The show follows skilled “pickers,” who hunt for America’s most valuable antiques.

“They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way,” the press release states.

The show is looking for residents in South Carolina with different, unusual and unique items.

“If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through, we would love to hear from you,” the press release states.

However, the show is only interested in private collections, so no stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or anything that is open to the public.

Any South Carolinian interested in trying out for the show should send his or her name, phone number, location and brief description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 646-493-2184.
