Someone won a six-figure Powerball prize in SC — but hasn’t claimed it. Is it you?
A six-figure lottery prize is on the verge of expiring in South Carolina, and officials are asking players to check their tickets.
The ticket won someone $150,000 in a Powerball drawing in August, lottery officials said in a Feb. 17 news release. The lucky winner has until 4 p.m. Feb. 24 to claim the prize at the Columbia Claims Center.
Someone bought the ticket at the One Stop of Coronaca in Greenwood for the Aug. 29 drawing, lottery officials said.
The ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers, which were 13, 36, 43, 61 and 69, and the red Powerball number, which was 18, to win the prize, according to the release.
If the prize is not claimed by Feb. 24, the winnings will be deposited to the Education Lottery Account, according to the lottery.
Players have 180 days from the drawing date to collect their prize, lottery officials said.
