A South Carolina man slept on cloud nine after realizing his hefty lottery win. Now, he hopes to buy a house.

The Lowcountry man, who wasn’t named, said he could hardly believe his eyes after winning $200,000 on a Break the Bank scratch-off, according to an April 3 South Carolina Education Lottery news release.

He bought the ticket from the Rutledge Mart in Charleston earlier that day.

“I had to rub my eyes a few times to make sure I was seeing it right,” he told lottery officials.

Before heading to bed, he said his prayers, then “slept like a baby,” according to the release.

The lottery winner beat odds of 1 in 720,000 to win the $200,000 prize, lottery officials said. Three top prizes remain in the Break the Bank game.

“I’m just elated,” he said.
