Two lucky players hit the jackpot in the same South Carolina lottery game.

The players bought tickets that matched all numbers picked in recent Palmetto Cash 5 drawings. The June 8 winner scored a $130,000 prize, while the June 11 winner’s ticket was worth $120,000, the S.C. Education Lottery wrote in news releases.

The winning numbers for the June 8 drawing: 9-28-29-37-41.

The winning numbers for the June 11 drawing: 5-6-9-12-40.

So, where were the lucky tickets sold? The $130,000 ticket came from the Super Mart convenience store in Timmonsville, a roughly 70-mile drive northeast from Columbia.

The $120,000 ticket was sold at a Murphy USA gas station in Union, a roughly 70-mile drive northwest from Columbia.

Palmetto Cash 5 is a rolling jackpot game that costs $2 to play. While the Timmonsville prize has been claimed, the Union winner still has about six months to cash in, lottery spokesperson Holli Armstrong told McClatchy News via email.
