A lucky player turned a $2 ticket into a $160,000 prize — marking South Carolina’s 13th rolling jackpot win, lottery officials said.

South Carolina lottery officials announced Friday, Sept. 13, that all five numbers drawn Sept. 12 matched a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket sold at a food mart in Florence, about an 80 mile drive east from Columbia.

The winning numbers were 1, 3, 9, 17 and 19, lottery officials said.

The odds of winning the Palmetto Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 850,668. Before Sept. 12’s win, the jackpot rolled seven times.

According to lottery officials, the winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
