Work from home in SC, earn just under $1 million: Highest paying open remote work jobs for February
If you’ve ever thought about a job that could pay you just under $1 million and work from home, EZ Mortgage may have a job for you.
That’s the top end salary they’re advertising on Indeed. The low is $75,000. They need someone in the Columbia area to full-time work as a mortgage loan originator.
The company says it rewards hard work and values expertise.
“At EZMortgage, we’re proud to be a small, dynamic organization where you can truly thrive,” the ad says. “We understand that no two clients—or loan officers—are the same. As a small company, we provide the freedom to shape your workday, prioritize your clients, and build relationships your way.”
And they promise to let the originator keep a higher commission and avoid red tape.
Most of the remote jobs on various job boards that pay in the six figures relate to medicine, sales or software development and other computer jobs.
But here’s an unusual one: South Carolina surety bondsman and runners for Bond Monee Bail Bonding & Insurance in Columbia. Pay is $80,000 to $150,000 a year for this contract position.
“At Bond Monee, we believe in fostering a culture of hard work, dedication, and self-motivation,” the company says in its Indeed ad. “While we operate within the bail industry, we prioritize professionalism and integrity in all our interactions.”
The job requires math, communication and typing skills as well as the ability to work independently while juggling many cases.
The ad adds, “People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.”
Among the other high paying jobs are:
Physician assistant, Psychiatry at $90 an hour for Virtually CALM, LLC.
The Indeed ad says, “Virtually CALM, LLC was created by a team of genuine professionals with decades of experience in mental well-being with one simple mission in mind: ‘Treat people better.’”
The job is fully remote and the successful candidate can make their own schedule to handle psychiatric assessments and psychopharmacological treatments. Besides a physician assistant license, a DEA license is required.
GE Vernova is hiring a client partner for Duke Energy at a salary between $168,000 and $252,000 a year. The position is also eligible for commission.
“GE Vernova is focused on bringing together technologies and expertise to help solve the toughest power system challenges, accelerating the global transition to a more resilient and reliable grid,” the ad says.
It requires a close working relationship and understanding of Duke’s needs and projects to bring about new initiatives.
The job requires a bachelor’s degree as well as experience working with utilities and in software sales, projects, or business development.
Price Waterhouse Coopers is looking for an E&C corporate investigations senior manager at a salary between $89,000 - $315,000 a year.
The job involves working with companies to minimize risks. Spanish fluency is required to communicate with colleagues in Mexico.
“Working in this area, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to facilitate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements,” the Indeed ad says.
“As a senior manager you’ll guide large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success,” the ad says.
The job requires a high school diploma and six years of experience in ethics and investigations. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
UKG Pro Workforce Management is looking for a director. Also a Price Waterhouse Coopers company, UKG is offering a salary between $148,000 to $317,000 to join the Oracle Human Capital team to modernize their HR business including benefits, payroll, recruiting and talent management.
The job requires a bachelor’s degree and 10 years experience.
Three Wire Systems is looking for a neurologist/neurosurgeon at a rate between $175 and $315 an hour. This is a job in its MyAdvisor care coordination program that works with the Veteran’s Administration to provide disability evaluations for traumatic brain injury. It is a consulting position with one-time appointments.
Three Wire was founded in 2006 by service-disabled Navy veteran Dan Frank.
Its name comes from making a perfect landing on an aircraft carrier perfectly — the three wire.
“One wire is too dangerous and close to the edge of the deck, the two wire and four wire are acceptable, but the perfect landing is marked by catching the three wire,” the company website says.
The Ellie Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, a part of the Hilton Tapestry Collection, is looking for a director of revenue at a salary of $115,000.
Managed by the Schulte Hospitality Group, the resort is on South Ocean Boulevard. Schulte manages 200 locations across 38 states and three countries for major brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt.
The job requires a degree in hotel management or business and two years of revenue management experience with multiple systems, ”proficiency in computers including, but not limited to Internet, Microsoft Office programs and hotel sales related programs and strong facilitation and presentation skills,” the ad on Glassdoor says.
One perk is daily pay, the ad says.
