Home prices in South Carolina aren’t skyrocketing like they did in the early years after the COVID-19 pandemic, but they’re still rising.

According to South Carolina Realtors’ annual report, home prices were up in 2024, year-over-year.

The overall median sales price jumped 3.2% to $335,500 for 2024. Single-family home prices rose 3.5% and condo prices grew 3.3%.

And for the month of January 2025, the latest data available from South Carolina Realtors, the overall median sales price increased 3% to $345,000 compared to last year. Single-family home prices were up 3.3% to $357,000 in January.

But where in South Carolina are these home prices growing the fastest?

Stacker recently compiled a list of 50 cities and communities with the fastest-growing home prices in the state, using data from Zillow. The cities were ranked by the dollar change in the Zillow Home Values Index for all homes from the 12 months ending in January 2025.
