A Greenville house for sale featuring floor to ceiling art work in many rooms has made the ever popular Zillow Gone Wild Instagram page.

The three-bedroom, two bath home on North Franklin Road about 10 minutes from downtown Greenville is for sale for $230,000.

Much of its 1,486 square feet is adorned with framed art. In some rooms large pieces are inches apart or stored on the floor.

It’s so unusual, it caused people to spin out their very best sarcasm and puns.

“Tell us you’re a self-trained interior decorator without saying you’re self-trained,” one said.

Another: “You have to be in the right frame of mind for this one.”

“Their child is a successful artist but really it’s been their mom buying all of their paintings,” yet another said.

Zillow creators couldn’t resist getting in on the act.

“I am having a hard time framing what is going on with this home, if only I had a better way of picturing it. You know what? I should call my friend Michael’s to help me figure this one out.”

Zillow Gone Wild was started in 2020 by Samir Mezrahi, who was working for BuzzFeed and realized no one on social media was talking about wacky real estate.

Now the page has 2 million followers and a television show on HGTV.

Some of the houses featured have included a $1.6 million converted church in Savannah, Georgia and a house once owned by Bing Crosby in Hillsborough, California; on the market for $40 million.

But the Greenville house inspired one page follower to say, “This might be the most bonkers one yet.”

The home is in a residential neighborhood along a busy street and “truly one of a kind,” the real estate listing from Conner Nasim of Engage Real Estate Group says.

“Super functional layout, oversized living room, dining room right off the kitchen and master suite at the back of the house,” the listing says. “You will truly appreciate the craftsmanship shown throughout this home.”

A perfect starter home.

It’s been used as an art studio. Old Masters Fine Art and Restoration has been in business for more than 30 years.

As radio and television commentator Paul Harvey used to say, “And now you know the rest of the story.”
