Country artist Chris Stapleton was supposed to start his All-American Road Show this week in Greenville, but equipment was damaged on the way to South Carolina and the concert has been rescheduled.

“Critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville,” his team wrote on Instagram. “Unfortunately, without that equipment, we are unable to put on the show.”

The show has been rescheduled for July 9.

Charlottesville, Virginia, will be the kickoff city for the tour on Friday. This is the ninth year for the roadshow.

Bon Secours Wellness Arena officials said tickets for June 4 will be honored for the July 9 show and refunds will be issued to anyone unable to make the new date.

Contact the company where they bought the tickets. Tickemaster is asking people to submit refund requests by June 24.

“Greenville, we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused,” Stapleton said on Instagram.

The 47-year-old Kentucky-born singer songwriter wrote for artists such as George Strait and Luke Bryan before going on to have a solo career. He has won 11 Grammys.
