Coastal Carolina fraternity suspended after members arrested for sexual assault
The Coastal Carolina Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity has been suspended after two of its members were arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a woman at a party earlier this month, according to university officials.
Raheen Levar Linnen, 24, of Georgetown, and Javon Lorenz Johnson, 21, of Conway, are CCU students who belong to Kappa Alpha Psi and were arrested recently after a woman said she was raped while at a party near Conway.
A letter from Dean of Students says the suspension was "a result of concerning reports of behavior and potential violations received by the University," and that all chapter operations have to stop until further communication from the university.
