Part of I-20 to close for 24 hours, SC Department of Transportation says
Part of Interstate 20 will be closed Tuesday, according to a statement from the S.C. Department of Transportation.
The eastbound right lane of I-20 over the Wateree River in Kershaw County will be closing at 9 a.m. Tuesday for about 24 hours, according to the statement.
Department of Transportation crews will be making repairs to the concrete deck on the bridge, according to the statement.
If there are any delays due to weather, the project could take longer.
Drivers may want to seek another route.
