Morning traffic alert: Multiple highways in Lexington blocked

Separate collisions in Lexington closed off parts of I-20 westbound and eastbound on Monday morning, as well as part of I-26.

The first incident occurred around 7 a.m. Monday, at I-20 and exit 61 to U.S. 378 and West Columbia. Highway patrol responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. The road remained partially blocked at 8 a.m.

Another crash, also without injuries, left eastbound lanes of I-20 blocked at the same exit.

Part of I-26 was also blocked Monday at the exit to U.S. 1 in Lexington.

A separate collision in Lexington County, on North Lake Drive and Andrew Corley Road, left at least one person injured. That crash happened around 7:35 a.m.
