SC man killed in single vehicle accident identified by coroner
Police in Sumter County have release the name of a man killed in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend.
Willie Walker, Jr., 55, was involved in a collision on St. Paul Church Road around 1:43 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17. Sumter County coroner Robert Baker said Walker died from injuries he sustained in the accident.
Walker lived on Browning Ridge Drive. South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident. MUSC will perform an autopsy on Walker on Tuesday, according to the news release.
