I-20 traffic issues cause commute congestion in Lexington, SC
A traffic stoppage on Interstate 20 has created issues in Lexington, according to a tweet from the town’s police department Thursday morning.
The interstate traffic has caused drivers to reroute through the town, causing congestion for local commuters, Lexington Police said.
The S.C. Department of Transportation is working to adjust traffic lights to alleviate some of the congestion.
Police asked that drivers stay alert to avoid collisions.
