Pedestrian killed in Richland County hit and run Friday morning
A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash in Richland County Friday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian was struck in the northbound lane of U.S. Highway 321 by an unknown vehicle around 3 a.m. Friday. The vehicle then fled the scene.
The crash occurred near the intersection of U.S. 321 and Sharpe Road, near K&R Lounge.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the fatality.
