Overturned tractor trailer blocks all lanes near busy intersection on Midlands interstate
An overturned tractor trailer blocked all westbound lanes of Interstate 20 near a busy intersection in Lexington County Tuesday.
The tractor trailer blocked lanes near exit 64A, which is the exit for Interstate 26. The wreck occurred at about 12 p.m. and was cleared at about 2:30 p.m., according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The highway patrol reported that no one was injured in the wreck. The cause of the wreck was unclear.
The Columbia Fire Department said the wreck has caused “huge” traffic backups.
