An overturned semi-truck blocked all lanes of Interstate 26 west out of Columbia.

The wreck was cleared and lanes opened at about 2 p.m.

The wreck happened just after 9:30 a.m., Saturday, near exit 85 in Newberry County, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation. That’s the exit for SC Highway 202 near Little Mountain. The wreck is in an area surrounded by construction.

Emergency crews had arrived at the scene shortly before 10 a.m. No injuries were reported by the Highway Patrol.

As of 10:30 a.m., the west bound lanes had not been cleared and traffic was totally stopped for miles behind the wreck. The east bound lanes of I-26 near the wreck were also congested.
