Four railroad crossings in Lexington County will close for maintenance in July, according to a social media post from the Gaston Police Department.

Each railroad crossing in Gaston will remain closed for two to five days, according to the police department.

These are the impacted crossings and the starting dates of closure:

  • Busbee Road on July 17
  • Preston Street on July 21
  • W. Ball Park Road on July 22
  • Sprahler Street on July 24

Mack Street will remain open until Sprahler Street repairs are completed, and Woodtrail Drive will stay open until W. Ball Park Road wraps up maintenance, according to the post.

The police department recommends motorists pick alternate routes and prepare for extended travel time.
