A motorist in the Upstate died after overcorrecting, crashing and overturning their vehicle, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

At around 3 p.m. Thursday, a 2008 Ford pickup truck was travelling west on Riddle Road in Spartanburg County before veering off to the left of the road. The driver overcorrected and then travelled of the right side of the road and hit an embankment, causing the truck to overturn, troopers said.
