Lake wind advisory affecting Inland Berkeley until early Tuesday evening

At 1:58 a.m. on Tuesday, the NWS Charleston SC released a lake wind advisory valid between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for Inland Berkeley.

The NWS informs, "West winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots and waves 1 to 2 feet expected on Lake Moultrie."

"Strong winds and rough waves on Lake Moultrie will create hazardous conditions for small craft," explains the NWS. "Boaters on Lake Moultrie should use extra caution since strong winds and rough waves can overturn small craft."

This advisory is in effect until 5 p.m.
