Heat advisory in place for Lee County until Saturday evening

The NWS Columbia SC released a heat advisory at 2:25 a.m. on Saturday valid between noon and 8 p.m. for Lee County.

The NWS informs, "Heat index values up to 105 degrees expected."

"Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses," states the NWS.
