The advisory was issued for Charleston County.
"The Flood Advisory will expire at 9:30 a.m. this morning for Downtown Charleston. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose an immediate threat, though additional heavy rainfall is possible through the course of the day today," explains the NWS Charleston SC.
The advisory is in effect until 9:30 a.m.
