Letters: Together we can defeat Clinton

I resent the temerity of the letter writer who advised that Hillary Clinton could be elected if we would “do it together” (“We can prevent Trump presidency,” Aug. 19). I don’t want to do anything to elect this inveterate liar to anything.

Clinton is the person who claimed she had to “dodge bullets” when she visited Bosnia, and later had to acknowledge she “misspoke.” The list goes on and on, and now she apparently told the FBI that Colin Powell advised her to use a personal email server while secretary of state — which Powell denies.

Unfortunately, we don’t have two great choices for president, but for goodness sake I hope we are not reduced to electing a proven, accomplished and unrepentant liar who would be unable to get even the lowest type of security clearance. Of course, she could always say she just “short-circuited” in her answer to Chris Wallace about emails that were “classified” after she sent them.

Let’s do it together. Let’s defeat Hillary Clinton.
