Letters: Will someone get our state’s priorities straight?

Let me get this straight: We are spending millions prettifying Columbia’s South Main Street and Sumter’s North Main Street (“Who’s to blame for Clyburn road projects? Maybe not who you think,” Aug. 28). We are not spending this money to put up barrier cables and fix potholes that are making our highways more deadly. Amazing.
