Letters: Here’s an easy call: ‘y’all,’ not ‘you guys’

In response to Miriam Johnson’s Sept. 14 letter about political correctness (“Words we use affect our actions”), I am hurt and insulted every time someone refers to me as “you guys,” because obviously I am not a guy.

It’s more correct to say “y’all” since that includes all genders. And it sounds more appropriate here in South Carolina.
