Letters: Emails show Clinton lacks integrity

Most Americans don’t fully grasp the seriousness of the classified information that Hillary Clinton handled in a reckless, unaccountable manner. Director James Comey said the FBI investigation identified 10 emails on her “non-secure server” that were classified Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information — the nation’s highest security classification. Such information involves our most sensitive intelligence sources, methods or analytical processes. Compromising this information can result in catastrophic damage to our national security. Make no mistake: This woman knew exactly the sensitivity of this information.

Director Comey said Clinton’s email server was no more secure than the “average gmail account.” He said there was a high probability that foreign foes hacked it. The server’s maintainers had no security clearances. And she wants to be our commander in chief? As a retired Army officer, I have a one-word response: insane. Not only should she not hold any security clearance, but she should be indicted.

Many have attacked Donald Trump as unfit for office. I remind you that there’s a world of difference between crass speech and compromising national security and continually lying about it. Hillary Clinton’s lust for power has corrupted her, and her conceit has jeopardized our national security.

Though we’re rapidly becoming a nation of fools, a vote for Trump will go a long way to stop that. Integrity supremely matters, and Clinton has none.
