Letters: Voting third party is the same as not voting
More people than usual probably won’t vote this year. Many who do vote will pick a minor-party candidate because of their dissatisfaction with both the major-party candidates. Neither choice considers the fact that either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will be the next president.
Voting for a minor-party candidate to express dissatisfaction is equivalent to not voting. As citizens, we owe it to our country and all its people to vote for the best person from those with a realistic chance to be elected.
Those people who do otherwise have no right to complain.
