Letters: Muslim extremists are our current threat

There are Muslim, Jewish and Christian extremists, but at this time, it’s the Muslim extremists who are proudly attacking the peoples of the world. In the past, there have been Jewish and Christian extremists. It is up to the believers in Islam, Judaism, Christianity and other religions to stop present-day extremists.

I am sympathetic that the innocent are getting grouped with the guilty, but until we can identify the guilty, our government must do what it can to protect its citizens.

This is not a religious war, but we are at war.
