Letters: Obama legacy nothing to brag about

I’m appalled by the hubris of our president, who told the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation that it would hurt his legacy and he would take it as a personal insult if African-Americans didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton.

What pray tell was his legacy? We are more in debt now than seven years ago. I know someone who could not afford the premiums for ObamaCare or the sky-high deductible and has to pay a $1,600 yearly penalty to not have insurance. Now that’s gall. I’ve lived through racial turmoil but have never seem such a racial divide. You would think our president would’ve brought racial harmony, but we are more divided than ever.

I’m voting for Donald J. Trump with the hope and prayer that he will turn our country around to peace and prosperity. Mrs. Clinton would bring more hardships than ever on the American people. She cannot be trusted with national security. Do we want another Obama term? I pray not.
