Letters: We know what Trump will NOT do
It’s hard to predict what Donald Trump might do if elected president. Will he deport millions of undocumented immigrants? Will he really build a massive high-tech wall across the southern border costing billions of dollars? Will he lead a repeal of the Affordable Care Act/Obamacare? Will he enact and advocate policies to bring back millions of American jobs that have been outsourced? Will he escalate war operations in the Middle East? Start new wars? Will he do anything to bring about greater opportunity and equality for African-Americans, Latinos and other minorities?
It is far more clear what Trump won’t do, based on his past and current behavior. Trump won’t release his tax returns. He won’t make his ties and shirts in the United States. He won’t pay the USA Freedom Kids (children who sang at his convention). He won’t admit he stiffs “the little guy” and small businesses relentlessly. He won’t admit he exploited undocumented Polish workers in a New York building project. He won’t ever admit that’s he’s wrong. And he won’t ever say he’s sorry.
Why would anyone believe he’s looking out for you?
