Letters: Suspend Kaepernick, and see what his priorities are

Colin Kaepernick has the right to protest anything, but not standing for the national anthem disrespects all those who have served and died to preserve his right to do so. His protest will not change anything except our opinion of him.

The NFL commissioner should suspend, without pay, him and any others who show such disrespect. Then we will see their commitment to whatever it is they are protesting. As for me, I will protest such action by not watching any NFL games until the commissioner acts.
