Letters: Not voting for Trump or Clinton is a cop-out

Both major candidates are despicable, neither deserving the presidency. We must look past them, writing the next four to eight years off, and decide the type of government we want for generations to come: socialism or constitutional.

Our responsibility approaches that of our founding fathers. A vote for a third party is a wasted vote, just to make people feel better about themselves. A no-vote is a cop-out.
