Letters: Does sexual misbehavior predict political success?

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump with wife Melania

I have lived under 13 U.S. presidents, and the most effective ones were actually involved in sexual misbehavior: Franklin D. Roosevelt (World War II), John F. Kennedy (Cuban Missile Crisis), Dwight D. Eisenhower (interstate highway system), Ronald Reagan (ending the Cold War), William Jefferson Clinton (welfare reform).

The most ineffective and worst presidents had no sexual allegations recorded. However, they had failed policies: Lyndon B. Johnson (War on Poverty), Richard M. Nixon (Watergate), Jimmy Carter (the economy), George H.W. Bush (tax hikes), George W. Bush (Iraq war), Barack H. Obama (Obamacare, ISIS, etc.).

What does this tell us?
