Letters: This time, the unknown is preferable to the known

Am I disgusted with Donald Trump’s comments about women? You bet I am. However, I am even more disgusted with the audacity of the Clinton campaign and First Lady Michelle Obama even making this an issue, with Bill Clinton’s actions and his wife’s attacks on the women involved.

As unimpressed as I am with Trump, I cannot vote for the likes of Hillary Clinton. She lies about everything, from promising that she will lower the cost of college education to shredded emails to her secret speeches to her Wall Street supporters to the Clinton Foundation’s “donations” that bought face-to-face time to using military parents and African-Americans to attempt to sway those who haven’t studied the issues and delved into the truth.

For anyone to actually say people should vote for her because she is a woman is an insult to all of us. A Democratic friend told me she would vote for the devil she knows instead of the devil she doesn’t. I say the devil we don’t know may be a whole lot better than the devil we have known for 30 years.
