Letters: Clinton will make us proud
I want to live in a nation where there can be reasonable dialogue with people who don’t look like me or think as I do. I want women, minorities and people who are frequently stepped on to shatter glass ceilings.
I want to build bridges of understanding as I embrace the strength of diversity while tackling such divisive problems as poverty, race, disparity in health care and inadequate funding and resources for public schools.
I have already voted for the person who is of sound mind and temperament and well equipped to serve our country with honor and dignity at home and abroad. I voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton. I invite you to do the same.
