Letters: Democrats should repay Trump in kind

Well, our national nightmare has begun.

I hope every member of the “basket of deplorables” can look their family or friends with disabilities, perhaps someone who is lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, non-white and of course women in the eye any explain why they voted for Donald Trump.

To elect this divisive, offensive bigot shows that hate and ignorance have won the day.

I hope every Democrat left standing in the House and Senate remembers how Sen. Mitch McConnell, Rep. Paul Ryan and our own Rep. Joe “He Lies” Wilson treated our president and return the favor with due lack of respect.

It is truly a sad day in America, but I suppose Russian President Vladimir Putin is happy to have a patsy now.
