Letters: Don’t forget who got the most votes
Donald Trump is president-elect, but this does not support the claim in the Nov. 13 State that the “Donald Trump experiment is what the American people want.” Trump received fewer total votes than Hillary Clinton. Because many people voted for alternate candidates, neither received a majority of the votes cast.
We need to be mindful of these vote totals. There is clearly no mandate for Republicans to pursue a narrow partisan agenda.
