Letters: Trump needs to protect Senate majority

I may be overly concerned, but it seems to me that President-elect Donald Trump needs to be careful not to put the Senate’s Republican majority in jeopardy by appointing a sitting senator to his Cabinet.

There will still be 51 Republicans with the departure of Sen. Jeff Sessions to become attorney general. But with two more Republican senators, the majority would evaporate, and … here we go again.
