Letters: Obeying police will prevent shootings

AP

In a nation of laws, citizens are to obey law enforcement officers. In recent incidents, citizens were killed when they did not do this.

The killings were unfortunate and would have been avoided had the people followed police orders.

Where should people learn the fundamentals of living in a society of laws? If we do not support the police, who will be here to protect us?
